Brazil have moved up 12 places to 39th in the World Rugby Women's Rankings after their historic 34-13 victory over Colombia in the all-South American qualification play-off for Women's Rugby World Cup 2025.

As Yaras gained 2.82 points for the win and their new rating of 39.73 points put them at their highest-ever position since the rankings were introduced in 2016.

Colombia, meanwhile, have suffered a three-place fall to 29th with Trinidad and Tobago, Tonga and Belgium all moving up one.

Wales' 52-20 win over Spain in the WXV 2/3 2024 qualifier did not have any impact on the ratings of either country, with Wales remaining in eighth place and Las Leonas 13th.
