More than 750,000 tickets have been snapped up in the initial sales phase of Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027, marking a major milestone as Australia prepares to host the largest edition of the tournament to date, featuring 24 teams, 52 matches and 2.5 million tickets.

World Rugby statement relating to anti-doping regulation breaches by members of the Georgian Rugby Union senior men’s team

World Rugby can confirm that a major joint-investigation conducted by World Rugby and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has resulted in anti-doping rule violations (ADRVs) being confirmed against six players and one member of the support personnel from the Georgia men’s senior national fifteens team. This confirmation follows a public update by WADA today.
