World Rugby has unveiled the match schedule for the inaugural World Rugby Nations Cup, set to take place throughout July and November 2026, with the tournament first-ever fixture taking place in Montevideo on 4 July as Uruguay host Georgia.

More than 750,000 tickets have been snapped up in the initial sales phase of Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027, marking a major milestone as Australia prepares to host the largest edition of the tournament to date, featuring 24 teams, 52 matches and 2.5 million tickets.

In partnership with key partners and stakeholders, World Rugby has released two landmark publications – the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 Impact Report and the Impact Beyond 2025 Global Impact Report, presenting, for the first time, a unified and comprehensive picture of how the tournament has reshaped women’s rugby locally in England and globally across World Rugby’s 134 member unions and six regional associations.
