Namibia’s Johan Deysel will appear before an independent Judicial Committee in Paris having received a red card, following a review by the Foul Play Review Official, in Namibia’s Rugby World Cup 2023 Pool A match against France in Marseille on Thursday, 21 September for an offence contrary to Law 9.13 (dangerous tackle).
The date of the hearing has changed and will now take place on Tuesday, 26 September.
The independent Judicial Committee that will hear the matter will be chaired by Adam Casselden SC (Australia), joined by former international referees Donal Courtney (Ireland) and Juan Pablo Spirandelli (Argentina).
