Japan replacement Yutaro Takahashi will appear before an independent judicial committee on Monday, 17 July having received a red card in Japan’s 11th-place play-off match against Italy on the final day of the World Rugby U20 Championship on 14 July for an offence contrary to Law 9.13 (dangerous tackle).
The independent Disciplinary Committee that will hear the matter is chaired by Roddy Dunlop KC (Scotland), joined by former players John Langford (Australia) and Jamie Corsi (Wales).
Facundo Garcia Hamilton (Argentina)
Argentina back-row Facundo Garcia Hamilton will appear before an independent judicial committee on a date to be confirmed next week having received a red card in Argentina’s ninth-place play-off match against Fiji on the final day of the World Rugby U20 Championship on 14 July for an offence contrary to Law 9.20(a) (dangerous charging into a ruck or maul).
The independent Disciplinary Committee that will hear the matter will be confirmed in the coming days.
World Rugby Pacific Four Series
Iritana Hohaia (New Zealand)
New Zealand scrum-half Iritana Hohaia will appear before an independent judicial committee on a date to be confirmed, having received a red card in New Zealand’s match against USA on the final day of the World Rugby Pacific Four Series on 14 July for an offence contrary to Law 9.13 (dangerous tackle).
The independent Disciplinary Committee that will hear the matter will be confirmed in the coming days.
Tanya Kalounivale (New Zealand)
New Zealand’s Tanya Kalounivale will appear before an independent judicial committee on a date to be confirmed, after she was cited for an offence contrary to Law 9.13 (dangerous tackle) in New Zealand’s match against USA on the final day of the World Rugby Pacific Four Series on 14 July.
The independent Disciplinary Committee that will hear the matter will be confirmed in the coming days.
