South Africa's outstanding playmaker and sweeper Cecil Afrika has finished as the top try and point-scorer for the 2010/11 HSBC Sevens World Series.

Despite missing the Wellington tournament with a broken jaw, Afrika finished with 40 tries, ahead of New Zealand's Frank Halai (35) and England's Dan Norton (32).

Afrika returned from that injury to inspire the Blitz Bokke to Cup success in Las Vegas a week later and was also key in their second Cup victory of the season in London.

Thanks to his clinical conversion kicking, Afrika also finished as the season's top point scorer with 385.
