The Emirates Airline Edinburgh Sevens will be played at Murrayfield on 28-29 May and, while New Zealand have already been confirmed as Series champions following their semi final place at Twickenham, the race is now on beneath them for second place as the sides jostle for final positions.

Only 11 points separate England, South Africa, Samoa and fifth-ranked Fiji.

South Africa took the Cup title in London and they are one of nine sides unchanged from last weekend, a list of teams that also includes Argentina, Australia, Kenya, Portugal, Russia, Samoa, Spain and the USA.

Series champions New Zealand call up Rory Grice in the place of Bryce Heem, while the team closest behind them in the standings, England, make two changes.

England coach Ben Ryan hands a fifth tournament start to Don Barrell and a debut to Richard de Carpentier, replacing Steffon Armitage and Tom Powell.

De Carpentier and Wales newcomer Will Price are the only debutants in the competition, Price coming in for coach Paul John in the place of Alex Walker.

Hosts Scotland call up national A team players Jim Thompson and Colin Gregor in the place of Callum Anderson and Ross Samson.

Fiji recall the vastly experienced Apolosi Satala to replace Setefano Cakau.

Canada call up Robert Wilson and Justin Mensah-Coker for Ryan Tomlinson and Ciaran Hearn and finally France replace Jean Baptiste Gobelet with Thomas Combezou.
