Every picture tells a story and snappers are on the button with unforgettable images at any major sporting event, and that was no different at the Dubai Sevens this weekend.
Everyone will have their own special memory from among the 45 matches played at 7he Sevens Stadium with more than 100,000 spectators turning out in the sizzling heat across the three days to witness Australia and Fiji walking away with the titles.
Here are just a few of the moments from the competition that are sure to live long in the memory of those who witnessed the sporting extravaganza.
FLYING FIJIAN: We can't not start with a photo of the victorious Fijians who were in scintilating form at 7he Sevens Stadium lifting their second title in three years.
DEJECTION: With winners, there has to be losers. New Zealand suffered two defeats to USA having never lost to them before, but they were down to the bare bones with lots of injuries and will bounce back in Cape Town.
CARTWHEELS: The World Air Games was going at the same time as the sevens and some of the athletes may have had the best seat in the house!
LIGHTS, CAMERA: Either that or Fiji, again! There was more media interest this year than ever before. Something to do with a certain Olympic Games debut one might think.
BOOMFA: The women were also in action, on as big a scale as the men's, and the next time that will be happen will be in Rio. Nobody can wait and the women demonstrated they are ready to compete.
ELATION: Russia's women celebrate in style with a try in the final, before they ended up losing the Australians.
PURE STRENGTH: We've seen this type of thing before from a South African....but in sevens it's part and parcel of almost every restart and with that we see incredible strength and beautiful photos.
USA, USA, USA: One more look at the USA and their historic weekend. Zack Test puts his body on the line to prevent a New Zealand try, and this is the result.
