USA Replacement, Henry Duke, appeared before an independent judicial committee on Wednesday 9 August, having received a red card following receipt of two yellow cards in USA’s Under 20 Trophy match against Hong Kong China in Nairobi on 30 July 2023.
The independent Disciplinary Committee was chaired by Stephen Hardy (Australia), joined by former international player John Langford (Australia) and former international referee Donal Courtney (Ireland).
The Committee, having considered the player’s submissions and reviewed all available evidence, found that the yellow card awarded for foul play is rescinded and accordingly the red card is expunged from the Player’s record.
The player has the right of appeal within 48 hours of the issuing of the full written decision, which will appear here once published.
