Fiji have announced their squad for the final two rounds of the 2011/12 HSBC Sevens World Series, including two new faces.

Timoci Vakadranu and Niko Verekauta join the Fiji Sevens squad ahead of the tournaments in Glasgow and London, as they attempt to win their first World Series crown.

Currently six points behind leaders New Zealand in the overall standings, Fiji also recall Isake Kotonibau, whist Setefano Cakau retains the captaincy role.

Having won two tournaments this season, the 2011 Gold Coast Sevens and more recently the 2012 Hong Kong Sevens, the islanders still have every chance of winning the 2011/12 World Series.

"This is the business end of the competition," said Fiji Rugby CEO Manasa Baravilala.

"We've gotten ourselves into a position where we can win the Series if we are focused and remain true to the way we want to play the game.

“When I look back on this season’s campaign it just seems like yesterday we were sending the team off to the Gold Coast and now here we are almost at the summit of what has been a wonderful campaign.”

Fiji face pool matches with Portugal, Zimbabwe and Argentina.
