Organisers of the Emirates Airline London Sevens are urging fans to dig out their flip flops and sun hats and enjoy the penultimate leg of the HSBC Sevens World Series in Beach fashion next May.

Sun, sand and Sevens will be the theme as Twickenham Stadium becomes one giant beach party on 21-22 May.

At the 2010 event 80,000 fans passed through the gates over the two days and also set a new Guinness World Record for the number of superheroes in one place at one time - 1,091 beating the previous record of 1,016.

Organisers are also challenging the fans to break the 100,000 barrier at the Beach Party with tickets very competitively priced.

“The Emirates Airline London Sevens is booming and each year the crowds keep on growing – the atmosphere generated at Twickenham is electric," said England Sevens head coach Ben Ryan.

"Everyone has a great time and the 2011 Beach Party will be a lot of fun.”

Australia shocked the crowd in 2010 by clinching the silverware but hosts England will be out to recapture the title they last won in thrilling style in 2009, when they scored in sudden-death extra time to defeat New Zealand.
