Japan's Under 19s overcame Hong Kong 48-3 to win the ARFU Asia Under 19 Championship for 2010 at the Thai-Japan Stadium in Bangkok.
In beating Hong Kong resoundingly in the final, Japan also booked their place at the 2011 IRB Junior World Rugby Trophy.
In their three matches the Japanese scored a massive 254 points - against Singapore, Sri Lanka and Hong Kong - and conceded just three penalty goals.
Sri Lanka finished the tournament in third place after narrowly beating Thailand, Korea finished fifth ahead of Chinese Taipei and Malaysia saw off Singapore to finish seventh.
Samoa on song in Oceania
Samoa have also dominated their regional Under 19 event on home soil in Apia, scoring 195 points and conceding just 12, against Papua New Guinea in their semi final.
In the final on 3 September they face the Cook Islands.
Samoa's Under 20s suffered relegation from the IRB Junior
